Selflessness

I’ve spent quite some time trying to find the right things to say in these current times. It’s been difficult with death, loss of livelihoods and homes. Trying to find a happy balance has been extremely difficult.

My brother wrote a fantastic song some time back called Live for today (great song) I now live for today and l pray for tomorrow. For we know not what tomorrow brings.

We are now in lockdown number two in the said second wave.
We have been given a list of instructions on how we are to live again for the next few weeks 🤔

People are concerned about not being able to spend time with family this Christmas in the way they usually do, I can’t say I blame them!!!!!

However I want to challenge you this year to do something different . Go visit an elderly or disabled person a person living alone this Christmas, buy a bed or two, for a homeless person for two weeks with (crisis at Christmas)if you can’t buy a bed offer your time to do a few shifts

Let’s talk about Boxing Day!

Boxing Day was traditionally a day that servants were given the day off work to spend with their families they would also received food and gift box for their families.

Now it’s a day for retailers to get rid of end of lines or old stock 😆 at knock down prices

Or how about boxing something for somebody less well off, due to job cuts or job loss, it could be a financial deposit in to their account, a gift on the doorstep or a visit to the neighbour even if you have to social distance.
It could make a real difference to somebody’s life. ❤️
