Given how polytheistic Japan has turned out in the modern era, I can't help but feel the west would have had less extremism, and polarization in it, if the Abrahamic religions had never taken over, seems like for whatever reason, the Abrahamic faiths have this inherent politicization, and extremism in them that never seems to go away, not matter how many centuries elapse.
