In this video
This presentation covers a number of points which include:
1. Metaphorical account of the creation of Adam
2. Iqbal on various aspects of the human self (ego)
3. The purpose of the human creation – a creation with choice and intent
4. The Law of Requital and its functioning
5. Miscellaneous
The talk covers many aspects and various verses of the Quran are referenced to point to the human creation. Since man possesses the ability to make choices and can act on these choices, hence, he is responsible for his life in this world. The world we see around us in 2021 is created by the human intellect without the guidance of the Quran. Therefore we see all the chaos and conflict in every part of the human society. The Quran pointed to this when noted the creation of Adam on this planet. The default human conduct without any external guidance is influenced by the human desires and emotions which cannot guide man to a higher purpose of life.
Many of these aspects are covered in the following books:
1. The Human Self and Iblees by G. A. Parwez
2. What is Islam by G. A. Parwez
3. The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam by M. Iqbal
