On dear. If Dr. Keating had just said, "We shouldn't take competitions too seriously," it would have been fine. But then he calls the Nobel "pernicious" because it's chosen by some "white guys in Sweden," and we enter the Social Justice Warriors' culture war against science. I'll defend the Nobel because it's based on achievement, and not someone's "intersectional identities." Judging people that way is what's pernicious.
