Whole books were just tossed because some priests thought they weren’t appropriate. I think a just god would forgive me for not believing under these circumstances. And when one considers that modern evangelicals are such horrible witnesses we can all expect a “get out of jail free” card. Their hypocrisy alone is most instructive.
