what are the odds, of an object, coming this close to earth, our sun, curving around our sun, (maybe a gravity assist?) then accelerating outward, without impacting any other object? Why is it so fast? some theories suggest that the acceleration occurred because of out gassing, but its rotating, so the out gassing depending where the fissure is will slow it down, cause it to rotate or accelerate. what are the odds of that too? if you look at the numerous animated trajectories, it looks almost planned.

A Harvard University article brought this subject back! It's interesting that I dreamed of Oumuamua two weeks prior to its fly by. I hadn't read any article or watched any news about it until then. I was at work on my lunch time when it appeared on TV. The artistic impression was exactly how I had seen it in my dream, even the silver glowing!Honestly, I froze. In my dream I was running from person to person saying 'Look! Look! Up there in the sky. Can you see it?!' But no one would look up or listen to me, people… Read more »

The latest news is that it is not exactly a rock, it is in fact a huge frozen turd that was ejected by an alien civilization that flushed an alien toilet.

I still think that, for a number of reasons, the possibility of this being a derelict spacecraft is understated. Naturally, its being an unusual non-artificial object predominates. Still, the very possibility that this might be something of intelligent construction renders it fascinating. I can only hope that technology will one day make it possible to chase down this object to know for sure.

This is some kind of fraud, or play or show, or, because it is a spacecraft, information surrounding it are secret. We should have endless/numerous pictures of the object. If we can believe the description, this isn’t spacecraft, or it’s out of control.
